Images from “Armi o stemmi gentilizi delle famiglie di Cento” by Francesco Antonio Bagni, written in 1719, the original of which is preserved in the Historic Archive of the Town of Cento. The paper manuscript contains the coats of arms of the families of Cento, in alphabetical order; each coat of arms is accompanied by the author’s brief historical note about the family.
In this black and white volume, the original colours of the coats of arms are represented by different textures (diagonal lines, horizontal lines, etc.) and colours, with a legend appearing on the title page.
